Sam's Power Palette: Owning Autumn in and out of the White Coat

Samantha has a "True Autumn" palette.
Samantha has a "True Autumn" palette.

Samantha is the kind of woman who turns heads without trying. With striking auburn hair, bright blue eyes, and a dusting of freckles across her warm skin, she has that rare glow that draws people in. She’s a medical professional—sharp, compassionate, and constantly on the move. Her white lab coat is practically a uniform, which makes her off-duty style all the more important.

“When I get the chance to dress up, I dress up,” she laughed. “It’s my way of reclaiming a little color, a little glam.”

An avid runner and sports fan, Samantha lives a full-throttle life—but one thing had always slowed her down: makeup. Specifically, makeup that truly worked with her coloring. She knew her palette leaned autumnal. Rich rusts, moss greens, golden browns—they always made her feel at home. Her clothing instincts were spot-on. But when it came to makeup, she kept running into roadblocks.

“I’d try a lipstick that looked like the right kind of copper or brick, but it would turn pink on me. Or bronzer that seemed golden but went muddy. Something always felt just a bit... off.”

Samantha came to The Palette Edit hoping to fine-tune her instincts with a professional touch—and with her love of luxury brands, we curated an edit specifically for high-end elegance.

Her photo analysis confirmed what she suspected: True Autumn, through and through. Not neutral, not soft—pure, glowing autumn with warmth and depth. And the mistake? Most of the makeup she’d tried over the years leaned too cool, or too pink, dulling the vibrancy of her coloring.

We hand-selected a luxe collection of makeup in precisely the right tones: golden undertone foundations that warmed her skin without turning orange; bronzers with a toasted, amber finish; blushes in terracotta and warm apricot; and lipsticks in rich cinnamon, russet, and burnt coral. Eyeshadows? Think antique golds, warm olives, and coppery browns.

Samantha didn’t just like the transformation—she felt seen.

“I finally feel like my face matches the way I feel inside—warm, strong, and alive. Even with the white coat on, I still feel like me.”

And when she hits the town in her golden camel blazer and cinnamon lipstick? She’s the definition of autumn elegance, head to toe.
