Photo Instructions for the Best Outcome

Example front-facing and side-profile reference photos for a men's virtual color analysis, taken in natural window light while holding a white paper near the collar for accurate color reference.

For the most accurate results, please follow these steps carefully:

Upload a clear, high-quality photo (JPEG or PNG) taken in natural daylight. If you're using an iPhone, please select "Most Compatible" in Camera Settings to avoid upload issues. Go to Setting>Camera>Formats. Select Most Compatible (this uses JPEG instead of HEIC).

  • No filters. Do not use portrait mode.

  • Take in natural daylight near a window (avoid: direct sunlight, yellow light, ring light or flash)

  • Face the window directly with even lighting on your face (avoid any shadows)

  • Plain solid color background is preferred

  • Remove glasses if you wear them.

  •  Hold a clean pure white sheet of paper near your neck/collarbone area in the photo to help ensure the most accurate color results.
